Grae (Grae McCullough) is a Christian Rock artist. However, his accessible lyrical themes have the finesse to crossover into the mainstream arena as well. Not coming from an extremely musical background, Grae didn’t become seriously interested in music until his teen years. He bought his first guitar at the age of 12. The guitar would become his main instrument. Grae’s music reflects his relationship with God, with others, and with the world in general, in a candidly honest way. He writes about joy, frustration, and even apathy; feelings that everyone is prone to experience everyday in real life. Grae believes that one of the most important criteria by which a piece of music should be judged is the level of emotion that the artist has put into it. In turn, that emotion should be conveyed to the listener. If this process takes place, then every song will create a mood. Grae’s hope is that those who hear his music will also see the genuine feeling behind it. His brand of straightforward rock’n’roll doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it’s simply how he expresses himself. And he hopes you enjoy it, too. Grae is a contemporary Christian crossover singer/songwriter from central Louisiana. His music ranges from spiritual acoustic ballad to energetic power pop and modern alternative rock. Having a love for the whole Body of Christ, he is exceptionally gifted at covering the waterfront of faith, which, in reality, includes experiences shared with others from just about all walks of life. Grae writes all lyrics and music himself, and plays all instruments, producing in his home studio. He performs live with a contract band. |
